Screechers Wild! Toys for Crazy Fun Transforming Games

Kids get lots of toys nowadays and every time they want to get more challenging and sophisticated ones to play with various features and attachments.

Teddy has lots of toys to play and it is hard to impress him with something unusual. But our little man was really fascinated with new Screechers Wild! toys. Based on of the new online animated show, these are the only toy vehicles that transforms into insect creatures with explosive, 360-degree flip morphing action!

Screechers Wild! series is a world where walking, talking beasts get behind the wheel of Screechers – a race car/machine hybrid that harnesses the mysterious molecular energy and transforms their sleek rides into awesome beast-powered forces! Designed for children ages 6 and up, these Screechers like came down from the screen and ready for adventures!

At first glance Screechers Wild! toys look like regular vehicles but just make them meet with special disks - then the story begins. The car is activated by a disk and transforms into a critter. The most fascinating is the flipping action which works like a magic. To return the creature to a vehicle condition you need just to remove the disk and fold the pieces back into the place including bottom lever.

Screechers are presented as cars, trucks and SUVs and are divided into three unique categories Level 1, Level 2 and Level3, overall over 15 vehicles and more to come. We started thinking what fancy creatures Ice Resurfacer and other unique vehicles can transform into.

Besides a wide selection of vehicles, there is a great choice of disks coming with every toy. These disks work for every car and have different patterns and colors. We already found our favorites.

Teddy had a chance to play with Nightweaver (Level 1) and V-Bone vehicle (Level 2), and likes the most V-Bone. It transforms into very cool creature and has one extra special attachment.

If you are ready for more fun then you should take a look at RapidFire Disc Blaster. It works as a disc distributor and throws disks. This was really fun to play. We loaded all disks we got and were shooting to activate our vehicles.

For more fun you can always check Screechers Wild! episodes on YouTube. Besides new on-line stories, more toys are coming soon and we can't wait to check them out!

Monster Jam Tour 2016 in #Toronto

Monster Jam is back to Toronto with giant trucks ready to roar, smash and crash. While January is pretty calm month after holiday festivities, and the weather in our city getting much colder, we are excited to cheer up and get loud with Maple Leaf Monster Jam. No guilt, fear or limits with high jumps and speed at the Rogers Centre on January 16 and January 17 this year.

We have been to Monster Jam shows for the last four years and every time it was fun for the whole family. We had a chance to meet the best drivers and be close to the enormous machine, they all are very impressive. It is pretty loud at the show so young kids and even adults should wear ear protective devices or plugs. Monster Jam is a very special show, because only there you can watch jumping School Bus and TV characters like Scooby-Doo or Iron Outlaw  doing crazy tricks, turns and smashing the obstacles on purpose.  The twelve-feet-tall, ten-thousand-pound machines will keep you entertained till the end of the show.  Monster Jam custom-designed trucks are very strong and their drivers brave and confident in racing and tricks.

This year Monster Jam Toronto features Cam McQueen, driver of Canada’s Northern Nightmare, Scott Liddycoat, driver of Dragon, Zombie and Rage, Grave Digger®, Son Uva Digger, Monster Mutt Rottweiler, Scooby Doo, Alien, Bounty Hunter, Iron Outlaw, Wrecking Crew, Higher Education, Black Stallion, Storm Damage and Hurricane Force. One of the best the Party in the Pits will be held on January 16 (3pm-5pm) and January 17 (10:30am-12pm). They give fans the opportunity to get a close view of the trucks up and meet the drivers of the enormous Monster Jam trucks. Pit Party Passes are $10, and event ticket must be presented upon entry for access. Have fun and enjoy the show!

ThinkFun Rush Hour® Shift 2-Player Strategy Game #thinkfun

If you like board games, Rush Hour is one of the interesting logic games. ThinkFun recently introduced Rush Hour® Shift 2-Player Strategy Game. I am not a huge fan of Rush Hour on the road in real life, but this game is a pretty cool brain-teaser and keeps kids and adults busy.

The main idea is to cross the traffic grid with your Hero Car and be first of your opponent. Both players start at the same line and then move forward towards the other side of the traffic grid. Each player picks a card for every move. The interesting feature is that you can shift the road back and forward to free your path or block your opponent, yes, no time to be nice, it is Rush Hour!

If with playing cards (32 of them) you need some luck, when it comes to a strategy, it is up to a player to find the smartest ways to get through blocking cars to the finish. As for blocking vehicles, there are cars, trucks and buses of different colors.

The game also includes a booklet with 10 game set-ups from easy to more difficult ones. Teddy loves playing Rush Hour® Shift 2-Player Strategy Game with us, if only he was so good in following all the rules, sometimes he creates his own and assumes it has to be that way. This two-player Rush Hour is much more interesting than one-player game, because it brings some interesting turns when you have to think for two people and predict your opponent’s next moves.

Overall, it is a great brain teasing game for kids and adults, quite challenging and involves you from the beginning to the end. It gives you ways to solve the problem but how you are going to do it, that’s the trick! Available on Amazon and on-line for $27, Rush Hour is a perfect gift for anyone who loves interesting and challenging games.
